GGSIPU 2025 Admissions Through Own CET Over CUET-UG

While Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University) Delhi will accept CUET-UG as well as JEE-Mains and NEET 2025 scores, it shall also conduct its own CETs (Common Entrance Tests) for many key UG courses. And like it did in the last 2 years, for these select courses, it shall give first preference to students who attempt its own entrance tests. CUET-UG based admissions shall be granted only on left-over seats, if any.

Key dates: Applications can be made online. The last date to apply is 31 March 2025.

The CETs shall be conducted from26 Apr to 18 May 2025.

CET format and test centre cities

The CET shall be Computer Based Test of 2.5 hrs duration.

The CET shall be held in Bangalore, Chandigarh, Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Noida.

A) Courses in which University’s own entrance test (CET) will be preferred

1) 4 Year Bachelor of Arts (Economics) (Honours)  - CET Code 197 

2) 4 Year Bachelor of Arts (English) (Honours) - CET Code 184   

3) 4 Year BBA & Allied Courses (including 5 Yr BBA-MBA) - CET Code 125 

4) 4 Year Bachelor of Computer Applications - CET Code 114 

5) 4 Year B.Com (Hons) - CET Code 146

6) 4 Year Bachelor of Journalism & Mass Communication  - CET Code 126 

7) 4 year Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) - CET Code 127

8) 4 Year B.Tech (Biotechnology) - CET Code 130 

9) 3 Year BSc (Medical Technology, Radiotherapy) – CET Code 158

10) 3 Year BSc (Medical Imaging Technology) – CET Code 134

11) 4 Year BA Liberal Arts – CET Code 451

B) National Level Test-Based Admissions

For the below programs, the respective CET codes are required to be entered while filling in the application form

1. B.Tech (streams other than Biotechnology) via JEE-Mains

2. B.Arch via NATA

3. MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS via NEET

4. BA-LLB & BBA-LLB via CLAT

5) 4 Year BSc (Hons) Nursing - via NEET. First priority in this course is for NEET. Leftover seats will be filled through merit of University’s own CET) (CET Code 115).

6) Bachelor of Design - For this, first priority will be to score of national level design entrance tests like UCEED / NID DAT / JEE-Mains-Paper-II / NATA etc, followed by University’s own CET (CET Code 600) and thereafter the score of CUET.

C) Paramedical & Tech courses through CET followed by CUET

(a) First preference to University’s own CET (CET Code 124) followed by CUET score for Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT), Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics (BPO), Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology-{B.SC.(MLT)}, Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP).

(b) First preference to University’s own CET (CET Code 133) followed by CUET score for B.Pharm.

(c) First preference to University’s own CET (CET Code 117) followed by CUET score for BSc Yoga.

(d) First preference to University’s own CET (CET Code 136) followed by  CUET / JEE-Adv / JEE-Mains / NEET score for BSc Packaging Technology. Candidates who are JEE-Adv, JEE-Mains, NEET qualified, who wish

to seek exemption from CET for this course, may give an application in writing in the office of Dean, University School of Basic & Applied Sciences, before the last date of submission of application form.

D) CUET/Marks based admissions

Admission in BSc Environmental Science shall be on the basis of CUET-UG. For seats Vacant after exhausting the merit list of CUET, admissions will be done on the merit of qualifying Examination.
