Programs Offered: Multiple UG level Programs valid across Commerce, Humanities & Science Streams
The Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET-UG) is introduced for admission into UG Programmes in Central Universities / Participating Universities (State / Deemed / Private).
CUET provides a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country. A single examination will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process to various Universities.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting CUET-UG.
Role of NTA : Confined to the registration of candidates, the conduct of the test, hosting of answer keys, inviting challenges, finalizing answer keys, preparing and declaring results, and hosting Score Card.
A merit list will be prepared by participating Universities/organizations. Universities may conduct their individual counselling based on the Scorecard of CUET provided by NTA.
NTA does not have any role in the preparation of the Merit List.
For all admission-related procedures/queries, the candidates are advised to refer to the website of the applied University.
CUET-UG Shifts and Score Normalization / NTA Score Calculation: The examination will be conducted on multiple shifts, depending on the number of Candidates and Subject choices.
For each subject for which the examination is held in multiple shifts, the raw score for each candidate appearing for the subject will be converted into NTA Score (Percentile Score & Normalized Score).
The performance of every candidate will be evaluated using the equi-percentile method as explained in Annexure VI of the information bulletin.
Participating Universities and courses offered: Central Universities, State Government Universities, Autonomous Institutions, Private
Universities, Deemed Universities etc.
The list of participating universities is dynamic. Candidates are advised to regularly visit NTA website for the latest updates regarding the examination and participating universities.
Details of Programmes / Courses offered by Universities along with their Eligibility Criteria are available on the respective University website as well as on NTA website.
To apply for admission in University(ies)/Institution(s): Candidates are advised to read the Prospectus displayed on the website of the University/ies where admission is sought and be clear about the courses offered by them, seats available, eligibility as regards to age, passing/appearing in qualifying exams, minimum marks in the qualifying exam, relaxation thereof, reservation, admission procedure, etc applicable and be clear before applying for the CUET, as Universities have their own specific requirements for admission to specified courses.
Re-evaluation/Re-checking
The result for CUET will be processed based on the Final Answer Keys. No grievance with regard to Answer Key(s) after the Declaration of Result will be entertained.
The marks obtained by a candidate will be considered further for computation of the result of CUET-UG - 2025.
c) There shall be no re-evaluation/re-checking of the result. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.
d) No Score Card will be dispatched to the candidates and the candidates are advised to download their Score Cards from the website.
