About NATA : National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), conducted by Council of Architecture, measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test makes an assessment of cognitive skills, visual perception and aesthetic sensitivity tests, logical reasoning and critical thinking ability, etc., besides the learning that the candidate has acquired over the past years.
NATA is conducted by the Council of Architecture, being the competent & final authority for the purpose of fixing norms and standards for architectural institutions and having the necessary expertise to hold a Common Aptitude Test in Architecture, at national level to provide a single window system for appearing in aptitude test and to facilitate institutions, students and public at large for admission to First year of 5 year B.Arch Degree Course at all recognized Institutions all over country.
Note : Qualifying in NATA does not constitute a right / guarantee in favour of the candidate for his / her admission to any architecture course unless he / she has fulfilled all the prescribed requirements as specified by respective competent authorities.
Test from Apr to Jun: The Council will be conducting NATA-2025 every Friday (morning session) and every Saturday (morning as well as afternoon session) 1 Mar till end of Jun 2025.
Maximum attempts: Candidates can appear for maximum of 3 attempts in NATA 2025 in one academic year. The best score out of all the attempts shall be considered for declaration of results.
Result validity: The score of NATA Test shall be valid only for one academic year.
Result finalisation for students who attempted NATA 2024 and are attempting NATA 2025: Those candidates who have already appeared for NATA 2024 and availed of one, two, or three attempts and obtained a valid NATA 2024 score, may also apply for NATA 2025 but their NATA 2024 score shall be frozen. Their NATA 2025 score shall be calculated / determined as under, depending upon number of attempts:
a) 1st Attempt in NATA 2025: Better of 2024 and 2025 scores.
b) 1st & 2nd Attempt in NATA 2025: Best of 3 scores of NATA 2024 and 2025.
c) 1st, 2nd & 3rd Attempt in NATA 2025: Best of 3 score of NATA 2025 (NATA 2024 score shall be rendered invalid).
Qualifying marks The Qualifying Marks for the NATA 2025 would be based on the following Rules:
a) A minimum of 20 marks must be secured in PART A
b) A minimum of 30 marks must be secured in PART B
c) Overall qualifying marks for NATA 2025 shall be 70 marks out of 200 as aggregate of Part A and Part B.
A Candidate will not qualify in NATA-2025 unless all three conditions mentioned above are satisfied. In case the candidate appears in multiple tests, all the previous scores shall appear on the score card. The best score obtained in all attempts shall be taken as the valid score for NATA 2025.
