Multiple modes for Gautam Buddha University 2025 admissions

Gautam Buddha University (GBU), Greater Noida, has opened 2025 application portal for admission in its UG / Integrated UG-PG courses.

The university has changed the admission criteria for many courses and shall conduct its own entrance test only for the newly introduced BSc Clinical Psychology (Hons) course.

GBU is a state university setup by the UP Govt in 2008. The University is funded by the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA) and the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), the undertakings of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

Admissions based on marks in qualifying exam

1. Integrated BSc-MSc (Ayurveda Biology) with exit option after BSc

Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB), obtained at least 45% marks (40% SC/ST) in qualifying examination; Basic knowledge of Sanskrit.

2. Integrated B. Plan-M.Plan

Eligibility: 10+2 / 10+3 Diploma in any stream with Maths & English securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST category) or equivalent grade.

3. BCA

Eligibility: 10+2 with Mathematics securing minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)

4. BSc (H) Biotech

Eligibility: 10+2 with PCB/PCM with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) and minimum 60% in Chemistry / Biology.

5. BSc (H) Forensic Science

Eligibility: 10+2 in Science stream with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST)

6. B.Design (Interior Design / Textile Design)

Eligibility: 10+2/10+3 Diploma in any stream with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)

7. BSc (H) Physics

Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Statistics  securing aggregate minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). Must have passed theory and practical separately.

8. BSc (H) Chemistry

Eligibility: 10+2 with PCM/B securing aggregate minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). Must have passed theory and practical separately.

9. BSc (H) Mathematics

Eligibility: 10+2 with PCM securing aggregate minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). Must have passed theory and practical separately.

10. BSc (H) (Maths, Statis, Eco)

Eligibility: 10+2 with Mathematics as compulsory subject, securing aggregate minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the qualifying

exam.

11. BSc (H) Environmental Science

Eligibility: (i) For National Student- 10+2/Higher Secondary in Science Stream with compulsory Biology / Physics and Chemistry securing minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade. (ii) For International Students - 10+2 in Science (with prerequisite courses) with minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination or equivalent grade.

12. Integrated BBA-MBA (with exit option after BBA) and BCom (H)

Eligibility: 10+2 in any stream securing minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade.

13. Bachelor of Social Work and BA (H) Political Science / History / Economics / English / Hindi / Urdu / Journalism & Mass Communication / Applied Psychology)

Eligibility: 10+2 with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST)

14. BPES (Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports)

Eligibility: 10+2 with 45% marks for General / OBC category and 40% marks for SC/ST

15. BA (Sanskrit)

Eligibility: 10+2 with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST)

16. BA (H) Buddhist Studies)

Eligibility: 10+2 with minimum 45% marks for General / OBC category and 40% marks for SC/ST

Admissions through GBU own entrance test

1. B.Sc. Clinical Psychology (Hons.) (this course is subject to RCI accreditation and compliance)

Eligibility: 10+2 with science stream from School / college established by law with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC / ST Category) or equivalent grade.

Duration: 4 Years

Seats: 20

Entrance test shall cover Reasoning (50), General Awareness (25), English Proficiency (25)

Admissions through National Level Entrance Exam OR Valid UG CLAT Score OR Direct admission based on merit in qualifying examination

1. Integrated BA-LLB (5 years)

Eligibility: Passed 12th with minimum 45% marks for Gen, 42% for OBC (Non-creamy layer), (40% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade and as per BCI rules. The Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying examination can appear for the test on the condition that they produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination with the prescribed marks before or at the time of counseling.

The 3 year Diploma / polytechnic course issued by an institution recognized by the Government shall be considered at par with +2 certificate for the purpose of admission to the 5 year integrated LL.B. Degree Course.

Admissions through National Entrance Test (NCET-ITEP) conducted by NTA

6. B.Tech (Electrical & Electronics) (AI & ML / Electric Vehicles)

8. Integrated B.Tech-M.Tech (Electrical Engineering) / MBA, Specializations at M.Tech. level Instrumentation and Control Engineering / Power Systems / Power Electronics and Drives / Renewable Energy.

9. B.Tech (Mathematics & Computing)

Eligibility (for 1 to 9): 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the above subjects taken together OR as per AICTE rules.

10. B.Tech Electrical & Computer Engg

11. B.Tech (robotics & AI)

12. B.Tech (Civil Engg)

13. B.Tech (Mechanical Engg) with minor Mechatronics & Automation / Automobile and Industrial Engineering

Eligibility (for 10 to 13): 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST) in the above subjects taken together OR as per AICTE rules.

14. Integrated B.Tech.-M.Tech. (Biotechnology)/ MBA (Without exit and lateral entry Options)

Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology/ Mathematics obtained at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the above subjects taken together OR as per AICTE rules.

15. B.Tech (Food Processing & Technology)

Eligibility: 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / BioIogy / Technical Vocational Subject, securing an aggregate at least 50% marks for General Category candidates (45% for SC/ST). Candidates must have secured minimum 40% marks separately in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Vocational Subject.

Admissions through NATA score and 10+2/10+3 marks

1. B.Arch

Eligibility: Passed 10+2 scheme of examination with physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or biology or technical vocational subject or computer science or information Technology or informatics practices or engineering Graphics or Business studies with at least 45% marks in aggregate

OR

Passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
