Maharashtra CET 2025 Applications Open For PCM and PCB
Published on : 15-Jan-2025 Powered by www.Opasis.comThe Commissioner of State CET Cell, Maharashtra, is accepting registrations for its Online Entrance Test for admission in various professional technical UG courses. MHT-CET is conducted for admission Bachelor of Engineering and Technology, Planning, Master of Engineering and Technology (Integrated), Agriculture and related courses and Pharm D.
Students from all states are eligible.
Key dates for MHT-CET
Last date to apply without late fee: 15 Feb 2025
Date of exam (PCB group): 9 – 17 Apr 2025
Date of exam (PCM group): 19 – 27 Apr 2025
Date clash: Please note that the MHT-CET exam dates clash/overlap the dates of SRMJEEE, VITEEE, V-SAT, WBJEE, NDA-Exam-I.
Pattern
For PCM - This paper is having 2 Groups of Physics-Chemistry and Mathematics. First 90 minutes Physics and chemistry will be enabled and only after completion of first 90 minutes time Physics-Chemistry group will be auto submitted and Mathematics group will be enabled with 90 minutes duration.
For PCB - This paper is having 2 Groups of Physics-Chemistry and Biology. First 90 minutes Physics and chemistry will be enabled and only after completion of time response for Physics-Chemistry group will be auto submitted and Biology group will be enabled with 90 minutes duration.
There will be 50 questions each in Physics / Chemistry / Botany / Zoology) / Maths - sections to be attempted depends upon the subject combination applicable (PCM / PCB as stated above).
Each question in Physics / Chemistry / Botany / Zoology carries 1 mark while in Maths, each question carries 2 marks.
There will be no Negative Marking
The questions will be mainly application based.
Acceptance of JEE & NEET score for select categories
(a) It is mandatory to appear for MHT-CET for candidates belonging to Maharashtra State Candidature, Minority Candidature seeking admission to B.E./B.Tech.
However All India Candidature candidates may or may not appear for MHT-CET as Score of JEE(Main) shall be preferred over MHT-CET for admission to B.E./B.Tech.
(b) It is mandatory to appear for MHT-CET for candidates belonging to Maharashtra State Candidature, Minority Candidature seeking admission to B. Pharm. / Pharm. D.
However, All India Candidature candidates may or may not appear for MHT-CET as Score of NEET shall be preferred over MHT-CET for admission to B.Pharm. Pharm. D.
