The Government of Maharashtra has established "ADMISSIONS REGULATING AUTHORITY AND STATE COMMON ENTRANCE TEST CELL" as per the provisions of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions & Fees) Act. 2015 (Mah. Act No. XXVIII of 2015).

The Commissioner of State CET Cell, has been designated as Competent Authority for conducting MHT-CET 2026 and selection of candidates for admission to First Year of Full Time Under Graduate Degree courses in Engineering and Technology, Planning, Pharmacy and First Year of Master of Engineering and Technology (Integrated), Pharm. D, M. Planning (Integrated) courses for the Academic Year 2026-27.

Normalization: A process of Normalization will be used and candidates will be ranked by their Normalized Score.

Candidate should note that if he/she appearing for both the groups i.e. PCM and PCB, the Percentile score of Physics or Chemistry will not be interchanged among the groups.

If a candidate appears for both attempts, the best of the two percentile scores (Total score only) will be considered.

Document on Normalization will be available in due course of time

Acceptance of JEE & NEET score for select categories

It is mandatory to appear for MHT-CET for candidates belonging to Maharashtra State Candidature, Minority Candidature seeking admission to B.E./B.Tech.

However Other State candidates may or may not appear for MHT-CET as Score of JEE(Main) and NEET will also be considered for them and shall be preferred over MHT-CET.

CET subjects combinations

a) The candidate seeking admission to First Year Engineering and Technology and M.Planning/B.Planning degree courses, it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

b) The candidate seeking admission to First Year Pharmacy / Pharm. D degree course it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for Physics, Chemistry as well as Mathematics and / or Biology.

c) The candidate seeking admission to First Year B. Sc. (Honours) Agriculture, B. Sc. (Honours) Horticulture, B. Tech. Food Technology, B. Sc. (Honours) Community Science, B. Tech. Biotechnology, B. Sc. (Honours) Agri. Business Management Degree courses, it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) Group.

d) The candidate seeking admission to First Year B. Sc. (Honours) Forestry and B. F. Sc. Fisheries Science Degree course, it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) Group only.

Scoring: MHT-CET result will be declared in Percentile. Candidate should note that if he/she is appearing for both the groups i.e. PCM and PCB, the Percentile score of Physics or Chemistry will not be interchanged among the groups.

Mock test: Mock test link will be activated on the MHT-CET portal in due course.
