Karnataka CET 2026 registrations open till 16 Feb

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET-K) 2026 has been scheduled to be conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) from 22 to 24 Apr 2026.

Applications for the same are ongoing and shall close on 16 Feb.

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test is conducted for the purpose of determining the eligibility / merit, for admission of Karnataka candidates and the ward/s of Jammu & Kashmiri migrants to the First year or First semester of full time courses for Government share of seats in UG courses.

Course(s) offered (i) B.Tech (Including Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Agriculture Engineering) (ii) B.Arch (iii) B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons) Sericulture, B.Sc (Hons) Horticulture, B.Sc (Hons) Forestry, B.F.Sc (Fisheries), B.Sc. (Hons) Agri Business Management (iv) Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V. Sc. & A.H.) (v) BSc Nursing and BPT, BPO, BSc AHS, D-Pharma

Important note about Compulsory Common Application: Admission in Medical, Dental, AYUSH courses is based on NEET-UG, admission in Architecture is based on NATA while admission in BPT, BSc Allied Health Sciences, BPO, D-Pharma is based on PU marks (no entrance test). However, all candidates must compulsorily register themselves for CET 2026, fill the application and pay the application fees to become eligible to participate in the KEA counseling.

Last date to apply: 16 Feb 2026

Test dates: 22, 23 & 24 Apr 2026

Please note that CET-K dates clash/overlap with dates of KEAM (17-23 Apr) and SRMJEEE (23-28 Apr). So please exercise caution in selecting test date/slot wherever such facility is provided.

Subjects to appear in CET-K

Engineering / Technology course: PCM

BPharm and Pham-D: PCM or PCB

Farm Science courses (B.Sc. Agriculture, Sericulture, Horticulture etc): PCMB

Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Naturopathy & Yoga and BSc (Nursing): PCB

Additionally, there will be a 1hour Kannada language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates (conducted at select test centres).
