CUSAT CAT 2026 for UG and UG-PG Integ courses

Cochin University of Science & Technology (CUSAT) (erstwhile University of Cochin), a State University, is accepting online applications till 5 March for its admission test CUSAT-CAT 2026 for admission in UG and integrated UG-PG courses.

Tech/Science Courses

(i) B.Tech

(ii) 5 Year Integrated MSc (Photonics)

(iii) 5 Year Integrated MSc in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)

(iv) 5 Year Integrated MSc (Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Biological Sciences / Environmental Science and Technology / Econometrics and Data Science)

(v) 5 Year Integrated MCA

(vi) 4 Year B.Voc. (Honours) Data Science and Analytics programme

Courses (ii) to (v) above have early exit options.

Important to note that for (v) and (vi), students from any stream can apply. However, for (v), students must have studied Mathematics / Computer Science / Informatics Practices / Information Technology as one of the optional subjects in Class 12. Similarly, for (vi), students must have studied Mathematics (Basic or Advanced) / Applied Mathematics / Business Mathematics / Statistics in Class 12.

Admission test dates: 9-11 May 2026. Please note that these test dates have clash/overlap with dates of CUET-UG, SITEEE and a few others.

About the university: The erstwhile University of Cochin established in 1971 was later reorganized as Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) in February 1986, redefining its objectives as the promotion of graduate and post graduate studies and advanced research in applied science, technology, industry, commerce, management and social sciences.

There are two campuses (out of total three), as listed below, where the courses listed herein are offered:

1) Main Campus situated at Thrikkakara, Kalamassery, Kochi-22 (Referred to as Campus 1)

2) Kuttanadu Campus (CUCEK) situated at Pulincunnoo, Alappuzha District (80 KM away from Campus 1) (Referred to as Campus 2)

The third campus is at Lakeside Campus situated on the banks of Cochin Estuary and adjacent to Fine Arts Hall, Kochi - 16 (12 KM away from Campus 1) (Referred to as Lakeside Campus)
