CLAT 2026 application date extended
Consortium of National Law Universities has granted an additional 7 days time period to apply online for the Common Law Admission Test CLAT 2026. The applications will now be accepted upto 7 Nov 2025. The test is scheduled to be conducted on 7 December 2025.
Please note that test date of CLAT clashes with Assessment Round 1 of Ashoka University.
CLAT is used for admissions to 5 Year Integrated Law programs B.A./B.B.A./B.Sc./B.S.W/B.Com-LL.B offered at 25 National Law Universities, IIULER Goa and many other Govt and Private Universities/Institutes across the country.
The test shall be conducted in OFFLINE (pen and paper) mode across multiple cities in India.

Test pattern
CLAT is a 2-hour test, with 120 multiple-choice questions carrying 1 mark each, with a provision for negative marking. These questions would be divided into the following 5 subjects:

> Current Affairs, including General Knowledge
> Legal Reasoning
> Logical Reasoning
> Quantitative Techniques
