Army Institute of Hotel Management Admissions 2025: No Entrance Test
The Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (AIHMCT), Bengaluru, has announced admissions for its 4-year Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) program for 2025-26. A major change this year is the removal of the entrance exam—selection will be based on Class 10 and 12 marks and an online interview.
About the Institute
AIHMCT was established in 1996 under the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). It is affiliated to Bangalore North University, approved by AICTE, and NAAC-accredited. The program is conducted in English and offers an Honours degree after 8 semesters.

• Selection based on Class 10 (40%) and Class 12 (60%) marks, plus an online interview

• Total seats: 90
• Reserved seats: 4 for Air Force, 2 for Navy, 2 for Op Sadbhavana
• Vacant reserved seats may be allotted to other eligible categories based on merit
Gallantry Award Weightage
Extra merit weightage (1% to 5%) is given to wards of gallantry awardees, war widows, and battle casualties.
