The successful completion of Four Years undergraduate Programme would lead to Bachelor's Degrees with Honours in a discipline/subject.  

The Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (AIHM&CT) was established in 1996 as a welfare measure under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), as a centre for excellence in education and building national character. The Institute aims at imparting high quality hotel management education acceptable to international hospitality industry. The Institute is affiliated to Bangalore North University, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and NAAC Accredited.

Mode of selection

Admission is based on marks obtained in Class X and Class XII and online interview by Board of Officers.  The Admission test that was prevelent until 2024 is not applicable for selection in 2025.

Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Class X and XII in a ratio of 40:60 and online interview by Board of officers. In case of students appearing in class XII exams & results being awaited, the marks of class XI will be considered.

Provisional admission will be granted to students appearing for Class XII exam based on Class XI marks. However final admission will be based on meeting eligibility criteria. 

English is the medium of Instruction for the Programme at the institute.

Acceptance of admission offer

(a) Selection. On receipt of offer of admission, the candidate should acknowledge his/her acceptance to join the course with Acceptance Fee of Rs 15,000/-. The amount will be adjusted against the tuition fee on admission.

(b) The candidate who has accepted the offer of admission to the course but fails to join by the due date, forfeits his/her admission to the course for that particular year. Delays in postal service / courier service will not be accepted.

Fee Structure : The fee structure for 2025-26 is produced below.

- One Time Fee incl Admission Fee : Rs.57,560/-

- Tuition : Rs.1,73,450/-

- Hostel & Mess Annual Fee : Rs.1,04,500/-

GRAND TOTAL (Year-1): Rs.3,35,510/-

Structure of subsequent years will be subject to change by upto 10%.
