VITEEE Clashes IIT BSc Data Science Entrance, Application Date Extended

The Vellore Institute of Technology, a Deemed University, has been accepting applications for the B.Tech / BDesign / BArch programs and has now extended the application deadline by 1 month. The admissions shall be based on its entrance exam VITEEE, which has been scheduled to be conducted starting last week of May.

Last date to apply: 30 Apr 2022 (extended from 31 March 2022)

Date of entrance exam: 30 May to 7 Jun 2022

VIT offers 40+ different B.Tech courses from its 4 campuses. 

Entrance exams clashing with VITEEE: Please note that VITEEE dates clash / overlap the admission test dates of IIT Madras BSc Data Science (5 Jun 2022), IIAT (5 Jun 2022) and NMIMS Jyoti Dalal School of Liberal Arts Liberal Studies (1 Apr to 5 Jun). Hence caution needs to be exercised while selecting the exam date/slot.

About the institute: VIT Vellore is now a Deemed to be University and also has been declared an Institute of Eminence by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. It also has two campuses in Chennai (Tamil Nadu), one each in Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) and Amravati (Andhra Pradesh).  The Bhopal and Amravati campuses are registered as Private Universities in the respective states.  However, admissions to all the programs across the four-campus shall be based on VITEEE.

PCM / PCB based eligibility: Candidates who have studied PCM are eligible for all BTech degree programmes. Candidates who have studied PCB are eligible for B.Tech. Bioengineering and B.Tech. Biotechnology programmes. They are also eligible for B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (Spl in Bioinformatics / Health Informatics) but after joining, registering for Mathematics as bridge course is mandatory.
