VITEEE 2019 applications started, Dates overlap with JEE Mains, SRM and NDA

VIT (Deemed to be University) Engineering Entrance Exam 2019 is scheduled to be conducted from 10 to 21 April 2019, thereby having a possible date clash with JEE Mains II and NDA exams. Candidates are advised to select the exam date carefully.

About VIT : VITEEE is a Deemed to be University, having campuses in Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) and Amravati (Andhra Pradesh). VITEEE is a common exam for admission to all BTech courses across all these four campuses.

Branches for Biology students : Candidates appearing in PCBE are eligible only for B.Tech. Bioengineering and B.Tech Biotechnology programmes. They are also eligible for ECE with spl.in Biomedical Engineering, B.Tech. Computer Science and Engg (Spec.in Bioinformatics) but after joining, registering for Mathematics as bridge course is mandatory.

Qualifying exam & Min Marks in qualifying exam : Should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate). The average marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent) put together should be 50% for the SC/ST and candidates from J&K and North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. 

Regular NIOS candidates are eligible. Other Open School candidates are not eligible for VITEEE.
