UP Polytechnic JEE 2021 New Dates Announced

Admission in various professional Diploma courses in Polytechnics in Uttar Pradesh shall be through entrance tests which have been rescheduled now to be conducted from 31 Aug 2021. UP Polytechnics offer courses for students after Class 10 and also after Class 12, classified in various Group as below:

Courses

Group A : Engineering & Technology

Group B : Agriculture Engineering

Group C : Fashion Design, Home science and Textile Design and Engineering

Group D

(a) Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice

 (b) Library & Information Science

Group E1 & E2 : Diploma in Pharmacy

Group F & G : These are PG Diplomas (Min Graduation required), Not relevant for School students

Group H : Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology

Group I : Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering

Group K1 to K8 : Lateral entry in 2nd  Year of Engineering & Technology Diploma courses

Admission criteria

Admission is based on merit obtained in the written test (2 Hours 30 Minutes duration, 100 objective type questions).

The test for Group A, E1 and E2 will be conducted in Offline mode only. The Papers of rest of the Groups i.e., B, C, D, F, G, H, I, K1, K2, K3, K4, K5, K6, K7 and K8 will be conducted in ONLINE mode in selected districts.

Test papers are in Hindi and English Medium.

Written test duration is 2 Hours 30 Minutes and it shall have 100 objective type questions.

Dates of entrance exams : The entrance exams earlier scheduled in June were postponed. Now, it has been decided to conduct the exams in 3 shits every day (0800 to 1030 Hrs, 1200 to 1430 Hrs, 1600 to 1830 Hrs) as below:

Group A : 31 Aug, 1 Sep and 2 Sep 2021

Group E1 : 3 Sep 2021

Group E2 : 4 Sep 2021 (only 0800 to 1030 Hrs)

Group B, C, D, F, G, H and I : 4 Sep 2021 (only 1200 to 1430 Hrs)

Group K1 to K8 : 4 Sep 2021 (only 1600 to 1830 Hrs)
