UGC mulls BSc (Aircraft Maintenance) course

Driven by the shortage of skilled manpower in aeronautics, University Grants Commission plans to start BSc (Hons) program in Aircraft Maintenance. It has therefore constituted a committee of experts to look into the possibility of designing curricular structure for a bachelor level degree program in Aeronautics. It is intended that the program will be offered under CBCS – Choice Based Credit System by interested universities.

UGC has already prepared the draft syllabus and uploaded it on its website, inviting observations and suggestions from stakeholders within 30 days.
