UCEED 2026 extended application last date approaching

Applications deadline for UCEED 2026 (Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design) conducted by IIT Bombay has been extended upto 5 Nov 2025 (without late fee) and upto 10 Nov 2025 (with late fee).

This Entrance Exam is being conducted for admissions in the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programs at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, IIT Indore and IIITDM Jabalpur. UCEED score is also accepted by many other leading institutes for admission in their BDesign programme.

UCEED is open to all nationals (Indian/Foreign).

Academic eligibility: The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2025, OR appearing in 2026. Students from ALL STREAMS (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible.

Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2024 or earlier are NOT eligible.

Important Note
i) Candidates from the Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as subjects are eligible to apply to all the seven  participating institutes (IITs and IITDM).
ii) Candidates from any other stream (Science without Maths or Physics or Chemistry, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible to apply to only IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore.
iii) For admission to BDes at IIITDM Jabalpur, only students with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology at 10+2 can apply. Students from Arts or Humanities at 10+2 are not eligible to apply for BDes admissions at IIITDM Jabalpur.
iv) In IIT Guwahati and IIT Roorkee, candidates from the Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects are eligible to apply. Candidates from any other stream (Science without Mathematics or Physics or Chemistry, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are NOT eligible to apply to IIT Guwahati and IIT Roorkee.

V) Admission to the B.Tech. in Design programme at IIT Delhi will be based on JEE-Advanced rankings. However, the aspirants will also have to qualify in UCEED.
