SVNIRTAR Paramedical UG CET For 5 National Institutes

In the specialised field of rehabilitation, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment supports manpower development through National Institutes, which offer a number of courses in which admission is through an All India Common Entrance Test.

There are 4 UG courses (4 years + 6 months internship / 4 years including 1 year internship) offered in Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Cuttack and Guwahati.

Application deadline for the 2025 entrance test is 13 Jun 2025.

The entrance test for the 5 participating institutes is being conducted by The Chairman, CET-2025, C/O Director, Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training & Research (SVNIRTAR), Olatpur, PO: Bairoi, Dist: Cuttack-754010 (ODISHA)

Courses

(i) Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) (4 Yr + 6 month internship)

(ii) Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) (4 Yr + 6 month internship)

(iii) Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics (BPO) (4 Yr + 6 month internship)

(iv) Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) (4 Yr including 1 year internship)

Academic eligibility

For BPT and BOT, the candidate must have passed +2 Science with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Botany & Zoology with 50% aggregate. For SC/ST and Physically Handicapped (Divyangjan) candidates, the minimum mark should be 40% and 45% respectively.

For BPO, the candidate must have passed 10+2 in Science or equivalent and studied Physics, Chemistry and any one of the subject Biology/Mathematics and English with minimum 50% in PCBE/PCME & aggregate. For SC/ST and Physically Handicapped (Divyangjan) candidates, the minimum mark should be 40% and 45% respectively.

For BASLP, the candidate should have studied any two or more subjects (Physics, Chemistry) in science stream and any one of the subject Biology / Mathematics / Computer Science / Statistics / Electronics / Psychology.

For SC/ST and Physically Handicapped (Divyangjan) candidates, the minimum mark should be 40% and 45% respectively.
