Panjab University, Chandigarh has announced the scheduled and started application process for PUTHAT-2015 (Panjab University Tourism & Hospitality Aptitude Test).
Courses offered & seats : 4 years Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) 60 seats and Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM) 30 seats
Eligibility : Passed (up to the Academic Session 2014-2015) in the 10+2 Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi or its equivalent Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University/Council with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate and English as one of the Compulsory Subjects.
Note : Candidates who have passed/appeared in 10+2 Examinations of Mahila Gram Vidyapith, Allahabad are ineligible to appear in PUTHAT-2015, as this institution has been derecognised by Panjab University, Chandigarh. The examinations conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Delhi, included in the booklet of recognised exams, have also been deleted from the Booklet.
Test pattern : Offline (pen and paper based), 100 questions (English Aptitude 30, Current Affairs and General Awareness 20, . Reasoning Ability 20, Hospitality Industry Awareness 30), 100 marks, 90 minutes, negative marking applicable
