PET Chhattisgarh on 30 April
PET Chhattisgarh is scheduled to held on 30 April 2015. Last date to apply online is 25 March 2015.
Eligibility
10+2 or equivalent with Physics and Maths as mandatory subjects with one of Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or vocational technical subject scoring minimum 45% marks (40% for SC / ST / OBC / persons with disability).
For Biotechnology, mandatory subjects are Physics and Biology or Maths.
Seats : Approx. 18,870 seats in 49 colleges
Chhattisgarh / Other States / Management quota : The quota for these 3 categories in different types of institutions shall be as below :
Pvt institutes : 75 / 10 / 15
KIT Raigarh : 80 / 10 / 10
IT Korba 75 / 10 / 15
Govt institutes 100 / 0 / 0
Govt universities 100 / 0 / 0
Minority institutions 50 / 0 / 50
Admission to Chhattisgarh quota shall be through PET and only the residents of Chhattisgarh are eligible for this. Other States quota shall be through JEE (Mains) and only non-Chhattisgarh candidates are eligible under this. Management quota is open to all candidates and both PET as well as JEE (Mains) shall be accepted.
