NU-UGET MBBS & BDS Entrance Exam Date Announced

Nitte University, a Deemed University situated in Mangalore, Karnataka, shall conduct a Computer Based All India Entrance test NUUGET-2016 on 9th May, 2016, between 11.00 am to 2.00 pm, for candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses in its constituent colleges, namely K.S. Hegde Medical Academy and A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, for the academic year 2016-2017. The entrance exam shall be held across 20 cities across India.
The institute was founded by former Supreme Court Chief Justice and Lok Sabha speaker Mr. K.S. Hegde. The University offers MBBS & BDS programs via its constituent institutes. The admission to these programs is via Nitte University UG Entrance Test (NUUGET).
Intake:
MBBS: K.S. Hegde Medical Academy - 150 seats.
BDS: A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences - 100 seats.
The entrance exam is open to all eligible candidates across India.
