NTA starts registrations for NIFT 2026 Entrance Exam

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), set up in 1986 under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India runs 20 professionally managed campuses across India and offers the following key UG programs:

- 4 Years Bachelor of Fashion Technology (Apparel Production)

- 4 Years Bachelor in Design (specializations in - Accessory Design, Fashion Communication, Fashion Design, Fashion Interior, Knitwear Design, Leather Design, Textile Design)

2026 admissions open: NIFT is now accepting online applications for 2026 admissions in both the above UG programs. The admission is through a national level admission test, which will be conducted by National testing Agency (NTTA).

Date of test: 8 Feb 2026

Eligibility

- NIFT-B.F.Tech requires candidates to have studied Mathematics in their Class 12.

- Candidates from any stream may apply for NIFT-B.Design program.
