NLU Meghalaya extends application date for MEG UAT 2025
NLU (National Law University), Meghalaya has extended the application deadline for its NLU Meg Undergraduate Admission Test (MEG UAT) upto 18 Mar 2025.
The University is conducting its own admission test for admissions in 5 Year Integrated UG Law courses. admission test is scheduled to be conducted on 5 Apr 2025.
Please note that admissions are NOT through CLAT.
Course(s) offered
(1) Bachelor of Arts (Policy Science) and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) [BA-LLB (Hons.)]
(2) Bachelor of Business Administration (FinTech) and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) [BBA-LLB (Hons.)]
(3) Bachelor of Science (Data Science) and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) [BS-LLB (Hons.)]
All Undergraduate Programme mentioned above will have options to complete with Double Majors, Double Minors and Major & Minors.
Selection procedure: On receipt of applications, the same will be scrutinized. For shortlisting of candidates, the following will be considered:
(a) NLU Meg Undergraduate Admission Test (MEG UAT) comprising of:
20 marks each in Legal Aptitude, Logic, Current affairs.
10 marks each in Mathematical & Analytical Ability, General Studies, Language (English), General Science.
(b) Personal Interview – PI shall be conducted in online mode.
Eligibility
First Division (60% or 6.5 CGPA in 10-point scale) in 10+2 examination.
Those who have appeared for the 10+2 examination and are awaiting results are eligible to apply. In such case, they must attach proof of CGPA / Marks in the Class 10 (Secondary) examination.

Applicants must submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP) (not exceeding 500 words) indicating their career goals and reasons for opting for dual degree in law.
Rs.3,500/- (Rupees Three thousand five hundred only), except for Meghalaya state-domiciled Scheduled Tribes (ST) who are required to pay Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two thousand only).
