NIFT 2025 Entrance Test on 9 Feb, NTA Starts Registrations

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), set up in 1986 under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India runs 19 professionally managed campuses across India offering the following programs:

- 4 Years Bachelor of Fashion Technology (Apparel Production)

- 4 Years Bachelor in Design (specializations in - Accessory Design, Fashion Communication, Fashion Design, Fashion Interior, Knitwear Design,, Leather Design, Textile Design)

2025 admissions open: NIFT is now accepting online applications for 2025 admissions in both the above UG programs. The admission is through a national level admission test, which will be conducted by National testing Agency (NTTA).

Admissions Criteria

- Admission criteria for non-NRI category candidates shall be via NIFT entrance exam.

- Admission criteria for Foreign Nationals/ SAARC/NRIs category candidates will be based on their SAT scores, and not on the basis of the Entrance examination.

Eligibility

- NIFT-B.F.Tech requires candidates to have studied Mathematics in their Class 12.

- Candidates from any stream may apply for NIFT-B.Design program.
