NERIST NEE 2025 Applications Open For BTech and BSc

Established in 1983, the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), a Deemed University, in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, is a unique Institute in the country, having unconventional and innovative academic programmes.

It has started accepting online applications for its entrance exam 2025 for admission in Engineering & Technology courses, including Agriculture Engg and Forestry.

Courses offered : B.Tech (Agricultural, Civil, Computer Science & Engg, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Mechanical), 4 Year BSc (Forestry) and 4 Year BSc (Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics)

About the entrance exam : The NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) is conducted at three Levels viz., NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III for admissions to Certificate, Degree Courses of Engineering & Technology branches through NEE-II (PCM) Engineering & Technology, 4 years B.Sc. Course in Forestry through NEE-II (PCB) and 4 years B.Sc. Courses in Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics through NEE-II (PCM) Science.

All India Eligibility: While students from across the country are eligible, 80% seats are reserved for students from 8 North-Eastern states (10% for each NE state).

Placements : The Placement Cell imparts in-house training to the students through IIT Bombay. The Cell also organizes visits of executives of leading Public and Private Sector companies like IBM, DELL, and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. Etc, to the Institute, under industry-institute interaction programmes, to deliver lectures on career development and prospects of placement in their organizations to the students.
