NATA 2022 Dates Released, To Be Conducted Thrice

The Council of Architecture has notified that NATA-2022 shall be conducted 3 times, once in June and twice in July. In view of the situation arising out of COVID-19 Pandemic and consequent directives of the Government of India, the Council of Architecture had introduced many changes last year for admissions in B.Arch programme, which, most likely, may not hold valid this year. Details would be known once the information brochure is released..

NATA test dates

First test : 12 Jun 202

Second test : 3 Jul 2022

Third test : 24 Jul 2022

Information brochure is expected to be released soon and shall be available on NATA as well as COA website.

Relaxed eligibility

In normal course of things, it is required that the candidate scores minimum 50% marks in 10+2 in science (PCM) stream for admission in B.Arch course and also clears NATA (or JEE Mains Paper 2 in case of CFTIs). But this condition of 50% marks was waived off in 2021 and also in 2020. Only the following condition had to be met: 

“No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject.”
