Ministry of Tourism starts a new institute, Announces Entrance Exam

The Indian Culinary Institute (ICI), Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, set up by the Ministry of Tourisnm, announces the commencement of its first academic session with the 3 Year B.Sc. (Culinay Art) programme from Aug 2016, jointly with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). The admisison to the programme shall be based on the merit in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) to be conducted by the institute.

 

Indian Culinary Institute (ICI) is an autonomous body under the aegis of Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The Institute has its campuses at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh and Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and is headquartered at Tirupati. It was established by the Govt. of India with the objective of running various programmes in Culinary Art starting from basic skilling level to Post Graduate level of study on the subject and for documentation as well as preservation of various Indian cuisines. The ICI is one of its kind and committed to quality education in the field. Quality of education and training at the Institute will help students to emerge as professionally qualified personnel in the field of Culinary Art.
