JEECUP 2023 New Dates Announced

Admission in various professional Diploma courses in Polytechnics in Uttar Pradesh is through entrance tests which were earlier scheduled to be conducted in first week of June but were postponed. As per the new dates now announced, the entrance test shall be conducted from 26 Jul to 1 Aug 2023.

The application process has been started on 6 Mar and closed on 20 Jun 2023. UP Polytechnics offer courses for students after Class 10 and also after Class 12, classified in various Groups as below:

Courses

Group A : Engineering & Technology

Group B : Agriculture Engineering

Group C : Fashion Design and Garment Technology, Home science, Textile Design, Textile Design (Printing)

Group D

(a) Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice

(b) Library & Information Science

Group E1 & E2 : Diploma in Pharmacy

Group F & G : These are PG Diplomas (Min Graduation required), Not relevant for School students

Group H : Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology

Group I : Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Avionics), Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Helicopter & Powerplants)

Group K1 to K8 : Lateral entry in 2nd  Year of Engineering & Technology Diploma courses

Admission criteria

Admission is based on merit obtained in the written test (2 Hours 30 Minutes duration, 100 objective type questions).

The test for Group A, B, C, D, F, G, H, I, K will be conducted in Online mode.

Test papers are in Hindi and English Medium.

Written test duration is 2 Hours 30 Minutes and it shall have 100 objective multiple choice type questions.

Negative marking is applicable. Every correct answer will be awarded 4 marks. Every incorrect answer will get -1 mark.
