JEE-Adv and AMU B.Tech 2020 Entrance Exam on Same Date

The  entrance exam for admissions in B.Tech in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is scheduled to be held on 17 May 2020,which is the same as the date of JEE-Advanced. This has put students in a fix since AMU is one of the oldest premier Central Universities of India while JEE-Advanced is the route to premium IITs and other CFTIs.

It is not surprising to see such exam date clashes. Many other exams have date overlaps. However, in some cases, a student can manage to attempt exams of her choice since there is flexibility of selecting date of exam within a given dates window. But unfortunately, this is not the case in AMU and JEE-Adv this year.

So what next ?

It remains to be seen whether AMU will change the date of exam or NTA will change it for JEE-Adv … or will the students be left to forego one of these two ?!
