JEE Advanced 2026 date and eligibility criteria announced

IIT Roorkee has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the JEE Advanced 2026. It has now released the examination date and eligibility criteria for select category of candidates.

- Exam date: 17 May 2026

- Eligibility criteria: The criteria has been announced only for Indian Nationals and OCI/PIO (I).

The eligibility criteria covers 5 aspects and all the candidates must simultaneously fulfil each and every point to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2026:

Criterion A1 - Performance in JEE (Main) 2026

Criterion A2 - Age Limit

Criterion A3 - Number of attempts

Criterion A4 – Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination

Criterion A5 – Earlier admission at IITs
