JEE Advanced 2025 applications start 23 Apr, Brochure released

The Joint Admissions Board shall open online applications from 23 Apr 2025 and shall conduct the JEE-Advanced on 18 May 2025. The Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) will be held on 5 Jun 2025.

Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur is the organizing institute this year.

Newly introduced “Fine Arts and Culture Excellence” quota seats: In order to reward and encourage students who have achieved excellence in ?ne arts and culture, IIT Madras has launched special ‘Fine Arts and Culture Excellence (FACE) quota. Under the FACE quota, 2 supernumerary seats per program are being offered for Indian Nationals and OCI/PIO candidates who have chosen to be treated at par with Indian nationals at the time of JEE (Advanced) 2025 registration. The FACE admission will be operational from the academic year 2025-2026. Please note that this is available only in IIT Madras.

Through
JEE-Advanced, IITs offer admission into undergraduate courses leading to a Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Sciences or Architecture. Both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees are awarded to candidates enrolled in the dual degree programs upon successful completion of the course curriculum.

In some of the IITs, students enrolled into the 4-year Bachelor’s program have the option to pursue B.Tech. (Honors) and/or B.Tech. with Minors. Dual Degree students may also pursue a Minor.

Further, in some IITs B.Tech. students also have the option to pursue Interdisciplinary Dual Degree, with Bachelors in parent Department and Masters in some other Department. All the above options require fulfilment of certain academic performance related criteria.

- Indian Institute of Petroleum & Energy, Visakhapatnam
