IOMA Changes 2024 Application & Entrance Test Date

Institute of Mathematics and Applications, a Premium institute in its domain, has extended the application deadline, upto 5 Jun 2024, for its entrance exam for admission in BSc (H) Mathematics & Computing.

Students from all subject streams are eligible: Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with Mathematics and English as a subject.

Date of entrance exam: 20 Jun 2024 New date to be announced

The entrance exam will be conducted in offline (pen and paper) mode.

Alumni: Students finishing B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics and Computing from this Institute have joined in Masters Degree courses and integrated Ph.D. programmes in IISc, IITs, IMSc, ISI, CMI, TIFR, IISERs, NITs, ISM, Central / State and reputed foreign Universities.

About the institute: The Institute of Mathematics and Applications (IOMA) was established by the Government of Odisha in the year 1999, vide the Resolution of the Government of Odisha, Science and Technology Department with wide ranging aims and objectives. Since its inception, consistent with its aims and objectives, it has been active in searching and nurturing talents in mathematics by organizing training and interactive camps for successful students in various mathematical Olympiads. Impressive activities of the Institute and its potential have persuaded the State Government to graciously lease to the Institute a piece of land measuring about twenty one acres on which the TATA Steel Ltd. has constructed a campus for the Institute.
