IOMA BSc Maths And Computing Applications Started

Please note that applications in physical form must reach the institute by the specified date.
Date of entrance exam: 24 Jun 2023
The entrance exam will be conducted in offline (pen and paper) mode.
Please note that IOMA entrance exam date clashes with that of certain other institutes, most important ones being NEST and ACET-Actuary.
Alumni : Students finishing B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics and Computing from this Institute have joined in Masters Degree courses and integrated Ph.D. programmes in IISc, IITs, IMSc, ISI, CMI, TIFR, IISERs, NITs, ISM, Central / State and reputed foreign Universities.
Students from all subject streams are eligible : Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with Mathematics and English as a subject.
About the institute : The Institute of Mathematics and Applications (IOMA) was established by the Government of Odisha in the year 1999, vide the Resolution of the Government of Odisha, Science and Technology Department with wide ranging aims and objectives. Since its inception, consistent with its aims and objectives, it has been active in searching and nurturing talents in mathematics by organizing training and interactive camps for successful students in various mathematical Olympiads. Impressive activities of the Institute and its potential have persuaded the State Government to graciously lease to the Institute a piece of land measuring about twenty one acres on which the TATA Steel Ltd. has constructed a campus for the Institute.
