IIT Mumbai starts 4 year B.Design from 2015

Industrial Design Centre (IDC) of IIT Mumbai has been conducting M.Des and Ph.D programs. From 2015, it is starting a 4 year B.Des program. Also offered is an integrated 5 year B.Des + M.Dees program (option being available after 3rd year). Total number of seats for both these programs together is 30.
The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design 2015 (UCEED 2015) will be conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay under the guidance of the UCEED Admissions Committee 2015.
UCEED 2015 is open to all nationals (Indian/Foreign). Candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor Degree programme in Design (B. Des.)
Students admitted to the B. Des. programme will not be eligible for branch change to any other undergraduate programmes offered by IIT Bombay at any time during the entire duration of the programme.
Eligibility
i) Age : The candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1995 if belonging to the GEN or OBC-NCL category and on or after October 1, 1990 if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category.
ii) Number of attempts : A candidate can attempt UCEED for a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years. However, UCEED 2015 being the first UCEED examination, it will be the first attempt for all candidates.
iii) Class XII (or equivalent) examination : The candidate should have passed their Class XII (or equivalent) examination in 2014, OR passed or appeared in 2015.
