Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh conducts HPCET for admission to undergraduate Engineering courses in 17 institutes of the state.
Eligibility : Passed 10+2or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology subject securing at least 45% marks (40% in case for candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
Criteria of admission : JEE (Mains) 2015 conducted by CBSE or HPCET conducted by HP Technical University
Test pattern : 3 hours, 50 questions each in Physics / Chemistry and Maths or Biology, offline (pen and paper based), objective type questions, negative marking applicable
