Gautam Buddha University Extends 2024 Application Date
Gautam Buddha University (GBU), Greater Noida, has extended the application deadline and also changed the entrance test date for 2024 admissions in the following:
a) Courses in which admission is through GBU’s entrance test
b) Courses in which admission is based on marks in qualifying exam.
GBU is a state university setup by the UP Govt in 2008. The University is funded by the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA) and the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), the undertakings of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
Admission channels: GBU It admits students in its UG and Integrated UG-PG programs through 3 channels as detailed below. Applications for 2024 admission are currently in progress.
Courses in which admission is through GBU’s own entrance test
Application last date for these has been extended upto 26 May 2024.
Entrance test date has been changed to 9 Jun 2024.
1. BTech, BTech-MTech / BTech-MBA (Biotechnoloy), BArch

Courses in which admission is through National Entrance Test (NCET-ITEP) conducted by NTA
1. BA-BEd
2. BCom-BEd
3. BSc-BEd
Eligibility for these is as per NCTE norms. Check NCET-ITEP for complete details.
Courses in which admission is on marks basis (no entrance test)
Application last date for these has been extended upto 15 May 2024.
1. BCA
Eligibility: 10+2 with Mathematics securing minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)
2. BSc (H) Biotech
Eligibility: 10+2 with PCB/PCM with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) and minimum 60% in Chemistry / Biology.
2. BSc (H) Forensic Science
Eligibility: 10+2 in Science stream with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST)
4. B.Design (Interior Design / Textile Design)
Eligibility: 10+2/10+3 Diploma in any stream with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)
5. BSc (H) Physics
Eligibility: 10+2 with PCM securing aggregate minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). Must have passed theory and practical separately.
6. BSc (H) Chemistry
Eligibility: 10+2 with PCM/B securing aggregate minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). Must have passed theory and practical separately.
7. BSc (H) Mathematics
Eligibility: 10+2 with PCM securing aggregate minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). Must have passed theory and practical separately.
8. BSc (H) Environmental Science
Eligibility: 10+2 with compulsory Physics and Chemistry securing minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). Must have passed theory and practical separately.
9. Integrated BBA-MBA (with exit option after BBA) and BCom (H)
Eligibility: 10+2 in any stream securing minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade.
10. Bachelor of Social Work and BA (H) Political Science / History / Economics / English / Hindi / Urdu / Journalism & Mass Communication / Applied Psychology)
Eligibility: 10+2 with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST)
11. BPES (Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports)
Eligibility: 10+2 with 45% marks for General / OBC category and 40% marks for SC/ST
12. BA (Sanskrit)
Eligibility: 10+2 with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST)
13. BA (H) Buddhist Studies)
Eligibility: 10+2 with 45% marks for General / OBC category and 40% marks for SC/ST
