GITAM University Engineering admission 2015 announced

Campus at Vishakhapatnam, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Biotech and Arch available only at Vishakhapatnam, Aeronautical only at Hyderabad
Eligibility criteria :
Pass in Intermediate or 10+2 examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (50% aggregate marks for B.Arch./B.Pharm.) in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry and First Class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination from a recognized Central / State Board or its equivalent either in 2015 or 2014 and Rank obtained in GAT(UGTP)2015.
Note : Candidates with Mathematics/ Biology, Physics and Chemistry subjects are eligible for B.Tech. Biotechnology (60% aggregate marks in group and First Class/equivalent grade) and B.Pharmacy. Candidates seeking admission to B.Arch. program should qualify in NATA / JEE (Main).
Exam pattern : Online test, 2 hours duration, 100 multiple choice type questions (40 Maths/Bio, 30 Phy, 30 Chem) of total 300 marks, Negative marking applicable,
Direct Admission to Board Toppers : First rank holders of the central and all state board examinations - 2015, equivalent to 10+2 will be given admission to the program of their choice, without appearing for the GAT examination subject to their fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria.
Scholarships :
Merit scholarship for GITAM topper Rank 1 to 10 get 100% fee waiver in 1st year, Rank 11 to 100 get 50% fee waiver in 1st year.Merit-cum-Means Scholarships : Will be awarded to 5% of students in each department of the academic institutes of the University (Rs. 2,000/- per month depending upon merit of the student and income of the parent).
Special reservation : 25% of seats are reserved for meritorious students from Karnataka State for admission at Bengaluru Campus
