FDDI Starts 2017 Applications

Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) was established by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India in 1986 with the objective of skilling the youth with an emphasison employability and entrepreneur skills in the niche area of footwear, leather products and design. Subsequently programs for Retail merchandise were also launched.

FDDI offers 3 year B.Sc in following programs from its multiple campuses. The degrees are awarded by Indira Gandhi National Open University, a Centtral University

Programs on Offer & intake:
1. Bachelor in Footwear Design & Production-(BSCFWP) :  630 seats
2. Bachelor in Retail & Fashion Merchandise-(BSCRFM) :  540 seats
3. Bachelor in Fashion Leather Accessories Design-(BSCFLAD) :  120 seats

Total Seats: 1860 across 13 campuses and three specializations. The degree is awarded by Indira Gandhi National Open University (Central University)

The admissions are via All India Entrance Test AIST that will be conducted across multiple centres across India
