Entrance Test in Oct, DHSGU, Central Univ

Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, a Central University in Sagar (Madhya Pradesh), has completed accepting applications for admission in its all UG, PG and Research programmes for 2021, the admisisons being through an entrance test. The entrance test dates have now been announced, which shall be conducted in last week of October.

Commerce & Business courses

BBA (Hons) and BCom

Duration : 3 years

Eligibility : 10+2 in any stream for BBA (H) and 10+2 in Commerce for BCom

Date of entrance test: 23 Oct 2021 (12PM for BBA, 4PM for BCom)

Creative courses

BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts)

Duration : 4 years

Eligibility : 10+2 in any stream

Date of entrance test: 24 Oct 2021 (4PM)

About the University : Erstwhile University of Sagar which was established in July 1946 was later renamed as Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya and was upgraded to a Central University in 2009. Spread in 1300 acres, it offers a panorama of learning in Technology, Science, Arts, Humanities and Education streams. The university has 11 Schools, and these schools have conducted major research programmes alongwith traditional postgraduate programmes. There are 35 independent teaching departments in the University. Some of them are recognized centers of the UGC and DST under the DRS, PURSE and FIST programmes. The globally recognized Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) of teaching and continuous internal evaluation is successfully implemented in the University. The Central University has adopted semester system and implemented CBCS in its first session. It was accredited grade A by NAAC in 2007.
