Diploma Admissions 2025 In AICTE Approved Delhi Institutes
Applications are invited (last date 13 Jul 2025) for admission in 15 full time diploma programs in Engineering/Non-Engineering disciplines, being offered at 5 AICTE approved Technical Institutes (Privately Managed Self Financed), affiliated with the Board of Technical Education (BTE), Delhi.
Admission for the Session 2025-26 is also available for lateral entry of 10+2 (PCM/B) qualified candidates from schools located in Delhi or candidates who have qualified 10th class and successfully completed two years course from Industrial Training Institutions (ITIs) located in Delhi. These students will be eligible for admission to Second Year/Third Semester of Full-Time Diploma Engineering courses in any discipline against 10% supernumerary seats earmarked for them subject to regulations or guidelines issued by the AICTE or the Government of NCT of Delhi. However, ITI pass-outs of trades for which the entry level qualification for admission to ITI is VIII pass or the duration of ITI trade is less than TWO years shall not be considered for lateral entry.

State quota: 85% of the total sanctioned intake of Government aided and privately managed Institutions shall be filled-up by candidates who have passed the qualifying examinations from schools located in Delhi. 15% seats shall be filled-up by candidates passing the qualifying examinations from the schools located in NCR and Outside Delhi.
Eligibility
a) Students who have passed Class 10 with Maths, Science and English subjects are eligible for courses except Pharmacy.
b) For Pharmacy course, student should have passed Class 12 with PCM/B subjects.
c) Lateral entry option for direct admission in second year is available only for Delhi candidates. This is restricted to 10% of intake in analogous disciplines and is over and above the sanctioned intake approved by the AICTE.
Candidates passing 10+2 with PCMB/ITI/12th Voc stream from DELHI only are eligible for admissions for Lateral Entry. NCR and Outside Delhi candidates are not eligible for admission under Lateral Entry scheme.
Admission criteria
Admission shall be through an entrance test.
Test 1 for courses other than Pharmacy.
Test 2 for Pharmacy course.
Test 3 for Lateral entry cases.
