DTE Delhi Changes Dates For Diploma Admissions 2024

Directorate of Training & Technical Education, Govt of NCT of Delhi, has extended the application and admission schedule for Full-Time Diploma Programmes for the academic session starting 2024-25 In Government Aided and privately managed institutes under Board of Technical Education, Delhi.

A total of 17 full time diploma programs in Engineering / Non-Engineering disciplines are being offered at 8 AICTE approved Technical Institutes (01 Government-Aided and 07 Privately Managed), affiliated with the Board of Technical Education (BTE), Delhi.

Date of online Entrance Test: 10 & 11 Aug 2024

Declaration of CET result: 16 Aug 2024

Counseling: 17 Aug 2024 onwards

Eligibility

a) Students who have passed Class 10 with Maths, Science and English subjects are eligible for courses except Pharmacy.

b) For Pharmacy course, student should have passed Class 12 with PCM/B subjects.

c) Lateral entry option for direct admission in second year is available only for Delhi candidates. This is restricted to 10% of intake in analogous disciplines and is over and above the sanctioned intake approved by the AICTE.

For this path, the candidate should have passed analogous 12^th Vocational (Engineering) stream of CBSE or equivalent from Schools located only in Delhi

OR

Passed 10th class of CBSE or equivalent with 2 years ITI (Engineering) from ITI s/ITCs. The ITI s/ ITCs must be from Institutes located only in Delhi and affiliated to DGE&T/SCVT, Delhi

OR

10 +2 with science.(Chemistry, Physics and Math/Biology)

Admission criteria

Admission shall be through an entrance test.

Test 1 for courses other than Pharmacy.

Test 2 for Pharmacy course.

Test 3 for Lateral entry cases.
