Caution : UGC notice about misleading advertisements

UGC, via a public notice F.No.11-5/2015(DEB-III) dated 17 June 2015, has cautioned the students and their parents about many Universities / Deemed Universities publishing misleading advertisements about offering programs through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode. It has also notified that no institution in permitted to offer Diploma / Bachelor / Master Level programs under ODL mode in Engineering and Technology disciplines.
It has notified that recognised institutions (and the courses) which are permitted to offer programs through ODL mode are as per the list posted on UGC website www.ugc.ac.in/deb. Follow us on Follow us on
