CMAC Delhi To Accept BBA 2024 Counseling Appli till 31 Jul

Application deadline has been again extended, now upto 31 Jul 2024, by CMAC (Common Management Admissions Committee) Delhi for Common Admissions Process for 4 Year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme offered by the following 3 premier institutes:

1. Delhi Technological University (DTU)

2. Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) and

3. Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW)

Eligibility

(a) For IGDTUW (only girl candidates are eligible)

Should have score at least 50% marks in Class 12 board examination from a recognized board and must also have passed English (Core / Elective / Functional) as a subject in Class 12 board examination.

(b) For DTU

Should have scored minimum 50% marks in Class 12 board examination from a recognized board and must also have passed English (Core / Elective / Functional) as a subject in Class 12 board examination.

 (c) For NSUT

Should have scored at least 60% marks in Class 12 board examination from a recognized board and must also have passed English (Core / Elective / Functional) as a subject in Class 12 board examination. Should not be less than 14 years old on 01 July 2024.

Admission criteria

a) The admissions in BBA program will be based on percentile of CUET-UG 2024.

b) The merit list will be prepared on the basis of score of CUET-UG 2024 in the following two components:

(i) Section 1A (Code 101): English

(ii) Section 3 (Code 501): General Test

c) The Weightage of the above components in preparation of the Merit list will be as follows:

Score in Section 1A –English (Code 101) 25%

Score in Section 3- General Test (Code 501) 75%

d) In case of tie in the final merit list, the following criteria shall be used:

i) The candidate with higher score in Section 3 General Test shall be ranked higher.

ii) In case of tie in Section 3 General Test score, the candidate with higher score in Section 1A- English shall be ranked higher.

iii) In case of tie score percentile in Section 1A- English, the candidate older in age will be ranked higher.

iv) In case of tie in the age criterion, random number will be used to break the tie.

Note: If the Candidate has not appeared in the tests of English (1A) and General Test (Section 3) in CUET UG 2024, such candidate will not be considered in the merit List and such candidates need not to apply for BBA admissions through CMAC 2024.

Intake

IGDTUW: 75 + 1 for Kashmiri migrant

DTU: Intake 180 + 1 for Kashmiri Migrant + 1 for single girl child

NSUT: 120

Delhi / Outside Delhi quota

85% seats are reserved as Delhi quota, 15% are for outside Delhi quota.

A candidate passing the qualifying examination from a recognized school / college / institute located in National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi will be considered for Delhi region only.

A candidate passing the qualifying examination from a recognized school / college / institute located outside the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi will be considered for Outside Delhi region only.

Note: For a candidate, who has passed the qualifying examination through Patrachar Vidyalaya, Delhi / National Institute of Open School, Delhi (NIOS), the criterion for deciding the region shall be the location of his/her centre of examination. In other words, if the centre of examination is located in the NCT of Delhi, the candidate shall be considered under the Delhi Region and if the centre of examination is located outside NCT of Delhi, he/she shall be considered under the Outside Delhi Region.
