CLAT 2026 on 7 Dec, Registrations started

The Consortium of National Law Universities shall conduct the Common Law Admission Test CLAT 2026 on 7 December 2025 and has started accepting online applications for the same.

CLAT is used for admissions to 5 Year Integrated Law programs B.A./B.B.A./B.Sc./B.S.W/B.Com-LL.B offered at 25 National Law Universities, IIULER Goa and many other Govt and Private Universities/Institutes across the country.

The test shall be conducted in OFFLINE (pen and paper) mode across multiple cities in India.

Test pattern

CLAT is a 2-hour test, with 120 multiple-choice questions carrying 1 mark each, with a provision for negative marking. These questions would be divided into the following 5 subjects:

> Legal Reasoning

> Logical Reasoning

> Quantitative Techniques
