Dr. Patangrao Kadam established Bharati Vidyapeeth in Pune in 1964.Now, it conducts more than 171 educational units including 67 Colleges and institutes of
conventional and professional education. Among these are colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, Ayurved, Homeopathy, Nursing, Pharmacy, Engineering, Management, Hotel
Management and Catering Technology, Environment Science, Agriculture etc.
Campuses : Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University has campuses in Pune, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Solapur, Kolhapur, Sangli, Karad and New Delhi. Bharati Vidyapeeth University has two campuses in Pune, one on Pune-Satara Road and another at Erandwane. The College of Engineering is located at Pune-Satara Road Campus.
