Actuarial Common Entrance Test (ACET) is conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India and is the stepping stone for becoming an actuary.

Enjoying very high industry demand, an actuary is a business professional who analyses the financial consequences of risk. Actuaries use mathematics, statistics, and financial theory to study uncertain future events, especially those of concern to insurance and pension programs.

To become an actuary, the student must clear the Actuarial Common Entrance Test (ACET) conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India. ACET is conducted three times a year.

Students who have completed their class 12 can take the ACET.

- Date of test: 10 Jan 2026

ACET Eligibility

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or any other higher courses/examinations.

Students who have appeared in 10+2 or an equivalent examination and waiting for the result.

Candidates studying higher courses/examinations.
