Admission process started for prestigious BS-MS Dual Degree in IISERs

Scholarship : KVPY scholars admitted to IISERs would draw fellowship as per KVPY norms. In addition a limited number of INSPIRE scholarships of Rs. 5000/- per month will be available for candidates admitted through JEE Advanced and SCB channels. This supersedes all earlier anouncements regarding scholarship.
Eligibility : There are three channels of admission. Candidates will be admitted to IISER only through these channels.
- Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) channel
- Joint Entrance Examination of Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT–JEE) channel
- State and Central Boards Channel (SCB) channel
i) Up to 50% seats for KVPY and IIT-JEE (JEE Advanced 2016) channels.
ii) Remaining seats through State and Central Boards channel based on an Aptitude Test conducted by IISERs. This means that the unfilled seats of the KVPY and IIT-JEE (JEE Advanced 2016) channels will be filled through the SCB channel.

Test Pattern
- Multiple-choice questions in four subjects – Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics
- 15 questions in each subject (total: 60)
- Duration: 180 minutes
- Score: +3 (correct response), 0 (no response), -1 (wrong response)
