AIIMS Raipur : Paramedical UG Admissions 2020

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur (Chhattisgarh) invites online applications for Entrance Examination for admission in Para-medical Courses – July 2020 Session of AIIMS Raipur.

Courses, duration  and intake

a) B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology : 3 years 6 Months : 8 seats

b) B.Sc. in Medical Technology in Radiography : 3 years : 5 seats

c) Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) : 3 years + 1 year internship : 4 seats

d) B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology : 3 years : 8 seats

Academic qualification for eligibility

a) For B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology : Should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum 50% (General, OBC and EWS category) or 45% (SC / ST Categories) aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

b) For B.Sc. in Medical Technology in Radiography : Should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with English, Physics, Chemistry and either Biology or Mathematics with minimum 50% (General, OBC and EWS) or 45% (SC / ST Categories) aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and either Biology or Mathematics

c) For Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) : Should have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and any one of Biology/Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Statistics/Electronics/Psychology subject with minimum 50% marks (General, OBC and EWS) or 45% marks (SC/ST)

d) For B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology : Should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum 50% (General, OBC and EWS) or 45% (SC / ST Categories) aggregate marks

Note : The candidate should have attained age of 17 years as on 31.08.2020.

Entrance exam pattern

a) Duration : 1 Hour 30 minutes

b) No. of questions : 100 (Multiple choice type). Questions will be broadly based on standard syllabus of 10+2 (Higher Secondary) level.

c) Mode : Online

d) Scoring : 1 mark for correct answer, negative marking of 0.25 mark for every incorrect answer

e) Test centres : Raipur. In case of large number of application, nearby centres like Durg, Bhilai or Bilaspur may be allotted.

Application procedure and fee : Candidates must fill in the online application form as per the procedure given in Para 13 of the brochure and take a printout of the same for submission at the time of verification of documents.

General/OBC Category : Rs.1,000/- + Transaction Charges as applicable.

SC/ST/EWS Category : Rs.800/- + Transaction Charges as applicable.

PWBD Candidates is exempted from any Fee.
