AIIMS Nursing 2021 Entrance Postponed

The AIIMS-Nursing entrance exam for admission in BSc (Hons) Nursing and other UG paramedical courses offered across all AIIMS has been postponed owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. The entrance exam was scheduled to be held on 14 June 2021, for which a new date shall now be announced in due courses.

9 AIIMS offering BSc (H) Nursing : Under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana new All India Institutes of Medical Sciences have been established similar to AIIMS, New Delhi. Starting from 2013, B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing course was introduced in six new AIIMS at Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh. It is being started now in Deoghar and Nagpur from 2021 session.

No. of seats : Total 671 seats as per breakup below :

- 96 in Delhi

- 100 in Rishikesh

- 75 each in Bhopal / Bhubaneswar / Jodhpur / Patna / Raipur

- 60 in Deoghar

- 40 in Nagpur

Stipend : Stipend of Rs.500/- per month shall be paid to all students

Note : Only female candidates can appear in AIIMS-Nursing entrance exam since other candidates are not eligible for admission in UG Nursing courses in AIIMS.
