20 Dental Colleges may be Derecognized

The Dental Council of India (DCI) has recommended de-recognition of 20 Dental colleges across India for failure to adhere to Anti-ragging measures.  The letter dated 20-July, 2016 has the list of 20 Dental colleges, including prominent Govenrment run dental colleges, that may lose their registration.  These are:

  1. NIMS Dental College, Jaipur
  2. School of Dental Sciences, Greater Noida
  3. King George's University of Dental Sciences, Lucknow
  4. Govt. Dental College & Hospital, Aurangabad
  5. Bhabha College of Dental Sciences, Bhopal
  6. Regional Dental College, Guwahati
  7. Patna Dental College & Hospital, Patna
  8. AME's Dental College & Hospital, Raichur
  9. Mithila Minority Dental College & Hospital, Darbhanga
  10. Indira Gandhi Government Dental College, Jammu
  11. KGF College of Dental Sciences & Hospital, BEML Nagar
  12. Rajesh Ramdasji Kambe Dental College & Hospital, Akola
  13. Harsaran Dass Dental College, Ghaziabad
  14. ESIC Dental College & Hospital, Delhi
  15. Hitkarini Dental College & Hospital, Jabalpur
  16. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Patna
  17. Sri Balaji Dental College, R.R. Dist, Andhra Pradesh
  18. Nanded Rural Dental College & Research Centre, Nanded
  19. Govt. Dental College, Srinagar
  20. Rajesh Ramdasji Kambe Dental College & Hospital, Akola
