H.N.B. Uttarakhand Medical Education University, Dehradun, established in 2014 by the Govt. of Uttarakhand, conducts UPMT for admission into government quota seats of MBBS & BDS in state of Uttarakhand.

Pls Note: 1. Until 2014, UPMT was being conducted by G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. However, in 2014 the Govt. of Uttarakhand has established a new University - H.N.B. Uttarakhand Medical Education University, Dehradun that will be responsible for conducting UPMT in 2015.
2. Two seats are reserved for Kashmiri migrant candidates who have appeared for UPMT. These applications must be supported by duly supported documents as mandated by the University.
3. 3% seats of the annual sanctioned state quota shall be filled up by the eligible candidates under physically handicapped category which will be considered candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs between 50% to 70%.

Application Procedure
- Application can be made online only at http://www.hnbumuexams.com/UPMT16/Default.aspx .
- Application Fee of Rs. 2000/-(Rs. 1400/- for SC & ST candidates) payment options:
1. By Online Payment through Credit/Debit Card/Internet Banking.
Or
2. By Offline Payment through E-Challan generated after filling the application form on any branch of Allahabad Bank. Candidates have to take the printout of e-challan to the nearest branch of Allahabad Bank after 24 hours of taking print out and deposit the fee.
- After successful payment of online/offline fee, candidate can take out the printout filled form for future reference.
- Candidates who have opted for fee payment through e-challan need to send the printed copy of application form and copy of e-challan to the following address via speed-post or by hand on or before 30.04.2016, 5:00PM
